RETURN AND REFUND

Since the sarees are hand woven, extra threads, black threads, handloom marks, and thread pullings are common, and these are not considered damages.

The user or customer is entitled to a refund or exchange in the event that an incorrect or wrong product has been delivered. It is hereby clarified that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the user or customer is entitled to an exchange or refund only in cases where an incorrect or wrong product has been delivered and not for any other reason.

In the event of a refund or exchange, the user or customer shall raise a refund or exchange request by writing to us at support@deepakshisilks.com with a photograph of the product, its order number, the price tag, and how it was packaged when it arrived at your doorstep. Thereafter, if DEEPAKSHI SILKS is prima facie satisfied after inspecting and assessing the photographs sent along with the exchange or refund request, it shall initiate pick-up of the said product. Additionally, once DEEPAKSHI SILKS receives the returned product, they will carefully inspect and verify it to ensure its quality meets their standards. Once they are satisfied with the product’s condition, DEEPAKSHI SILKS will proceed accordingly. (i) in the case of an exchange, initiate the dispatch of the correct product to the user’s or customer’s address, or (ii) in the case of a refund, initiate the refund to the source account from which the user or customer initially paid for the product.

Exchange or refund for products shall not be entertained by DEEPAKSHI SILKS if:

  1. The correct product is delivered.
  2. The user messed up or threw away the price labels, brand tags, box, and the original packaging stuff.

Pickup of the purchased products for exchange or refund is facilitated through DEEPAKSHI SILKS’s reverse logistics partners or by DEEPAKSHI SILKS itself. Upon a user making a request for exchange or refund of a product and the same being duly acknowledged by DEEPAKSHI SILKS, DEEPAKSHI SILKS or DEEPAKSHI SILKS’s reverse logistics partners shall get in touch with the user in order to collect the purchased products from the user and deliver them to DEEPAKSHI SILKS. While DEEPAKSHI SILKS has made reasonable endeavors to ensure delivery and pick-ups across multiple locations in India, currently, DEEPAKSHI SILKS has a select list of areas where deliveries and collection can be undertaken by its reverse logistics partners. In events where DEEPAKSHI SILKS is unable to facilitate a pick-up of the purchased product for exchange or refund from the user, the user is required to self-ship the product to DEEPAKSHI SILKS’s shipping warehouse, the address for which will be intimated to the user upon the user placing such a request for exchange or refund. Upon self-shipping the product to DEEPAKSHI SILKS’s warehouse, the user shall be required to scan the courier or postal receipt and email it to support@deepakshisilks.com for DEEPAKSHI SILKS’s records. The aforesaid return by self-shipping the products is subject to the returned products passing a quality check by DEEPAKSHI SILKS.

That self-shipping by the user shall be done only with prior written approval of DEEPAKSHI SILKS, and in the event where the user claims to have self-shipped the product in accordance with the process set out in the paragraph above and DEEPAKSHI SILKS does not receive the returned product or the package containing such product is empty, the user shall be required to submit the ‘proof of delivery’ received from the courier or postal agency to DEEPAKSHI SILKS to prove his or her claim of return of products through self-shipment to DEEPAKS. It is specifically clarified that any exchange or refund shall be processed by DEEPAKSHI SILKS only upon receiving the returned products and concluding the required verifications and checks or receiving the ‘proof of delivery’ from the user, as the case may be.
